We are an Austrian startup transforming fruit and vegetable waste into circular material foils for textile applications

With the help of bacteria we turn waste into bacterial cellulose which is chemically identical to wood cellulose but requires zero deforestation & drastically less water.
We apply the cradle to cradle philosophy to keep our materials; soil compostable and free from plastic & toxic chemicals.

Our materials can be glued, sewn, laser cut and laser engraved.We have tested them for fashion accesories, interior design and book covers.
We are building the tools to enable future integration with Digital Product Passport frameworks.
Local – Transparent – Traceable

We share knowledge through our publications, keynotes and seminars to create awareness and share accessible insights.
Our focus is on circular economy, material innovation, social enterprises and creative industries.

We don“t just talk about problems, we offer solutions at local level with regional and global impact.

We design and host workshops where participants learn to transform biowaste into functional materials.
Tailored for groups, companies, and institutions, these sessions combine theory and practice.

Participants experiment directly, understand material behavior, and develop their own circular applications.
Why new alternatives?

Leather = resource intensive
Synthetic Leather = 100% plastic
Bioleather = up to 50% PLA
why from biowaste?

Every single day, over 1.5 tons of fruits and vegetables are discarded as waste in Austria
